Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Complete Collection

Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:

  • Fractal Terrains 3+
  • Dungeon Designer 3
  • Urban Planning Software
  • Cosmographer 3
  • Viewpoint Enhancement
  • Scene Builder
  • Character Design Module
  • Fantasy Interior Symbols
  • Symbol Set 3: Modern
  • Schley Dungeon Collection
  • Schley Urban Pack
  • Monster Token Collection 2
  • Source Maps: Temples, Tombs and Catacombs
  • Historical War Maps
  • World Creation Guide
  • Annual Volumes 1-17
  • Campaign Cartographer 3+ (Lifetime License)
  • 3D City Symbols
  • Comprehensive Mapping Guide
  • Fantasy Landscape Symbols
  • Token Treasury: Monsters 1
  • Source Maps: Castles!
  • Source Maps: Cities!

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
