In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.

The mission centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
